The VILS Scaling facility
The VILS scaling facility project is to retrofit a 10,000 sq ft shell space into a wet-lab facility. This facility will fill a critical gap for life science companies ready to scale up R&D, workforce, and manufacturing. The facility will provide affordable, accessible, and regulator-approved wet lab and manufacturing space which will de-risk and accelerate the transition to scalable, commercialized products. There will be short- and long-term residency opportunities for SME’s ranging from shared lab space, 100 and 200 to 1000 to 2000 sq ft. private, secure labs. The spaces are specialized such as a tissue culture focus, chemistry capabilities, clean rooms, and workshop spaces. The facility spaces will be re-configurable to meet the changing needs of growing companies. We are partnering to provide programming, services, and access to specialized instrumentation.
